About Beauvoir 4 ...
If you are looking for a quiet retreat within easy reach of the slopes, Beauvoir 4 cannot be beaten. In this cosy apartment for four, the owner has anticipated your every need.
Airport transfers, local transport, babysitting, house-keeping, ski school and even a massage can be arranged, leaving you free to make the most of your stunning surroundings.
The heated swimming pool, available in the summer, has a counter-current so you can swim as far as you like, or just lie back and let your cares float away as you admire the mountains above you.
Larger groups of up to 16 can rent the flat together with the neighbouring chalet, Beauvoir 12, which is situated just across the terrace.

Beauvoir 4 is the perfect base for a great holiday in the French Alps. Sleeping four people in one twin bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area, the well-planned accommodation also has a dining area and well-equipped kitchen with an oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher.
If you fancy a night off from cooking, a professional chef is available to conjure up a special meal while you reflect on another great day in the mountains – he’ll even do the washing up! Patio doors open on to the sunny south-facing terrace and pool area, where you can relax with a glass of wine or enjoy a barbecue while you admire the glorious views. Towels, bathrobes and even slippers are provided – all you’ve got to do is enjoy your holiday.
About the area ...
Beauvoir 4 is ideally placed for skiers and boarders of all ages and abilities. Visit the quiet novice ski runs of St Jean de Sixt (snow permitting), or opt for Le Grand Bornand or La Clusaz, where slopes are flood-lit for night skiing - don’t miss the weekly torch-lit descent! There’s great terrain for cross-country skiers too, with 16 trails to choose from.
Non-skiers will find plenty to keep them occupied, with a private, heated outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi outside the door and open year-round, plus a public ice skating rink and cinema, as well as sledging, show-shoe walking, dog-sledding and horse-drawn sleigh rides.
Thrill-seekers should head for the Bun-J-Ride in St Jean de Sixt – a unique mixture of ski-jumping and bungee jumping that’s not for the faint-hearted!
In the summer you’ll find it hard to tear yourself away from the endless pool at Beauvoir 4, but the struggle will be well rewarded.
There’s no shortage of walks in the area, from mountain trails to hiking on the Gliéres plateau, the scene of the Resistance’s campaign against the German army in World War II. Adrenalin junkies are well catered for, with paragliding, canyoning, climbing, via ferrata, mountain-biking and white-water rafting just some of the activities within a few miles of St Jean de Sixt.
Just a 30-minute drive away, take a dip in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Annecy, cycle the lakeside paths or explore the medieval city of Annecy.

“The adventure for Chalets Beauvoir started in 1992 with the building of a superb chalet out of wood and local stone on my families land. We have been living in this magical place for five generations and, as the latest owner, I designed the chalet to include an apartment dedicated to be used for holiday rentals.
With its direct access to the garden and the pool, and its stunning views over the valley, it was an immediate success. Renters keep visiting in all seasons: during the winter to ski, during the summer to enjoy the pool and the various hikes, and in the in-between seasons for the tranquility.

What an excellent holiday in this lovely apartment ideally located, with a great view. As soon as we arrived, we were very touched by all the little attentions provided by the owner. There is everything you need to had a great time in winter: sledges for the kids, raclette and fondue sets... The apartment was clean and maintained. Ideal for 4 people who want to enjoy the mountain environment, even for those who don't ski.
